Ok guys was running my dads mx5200 for most of the day, shortly before coming in the tractor would barely move forward in first even at high rpm. The problem consisted all the way to the barn. Anyone have any ideas before I break out the ball peen hammer out of frustration, it’s been hot today lol. Thanks in advance

Dry clutch tractor? Suddenly won't move? You've checked for pedal free play, right? A slipping clutch is always the first thing that comes to mind with that symptom.

No play in the clutch and no regen lights at all, will move in all 4 gears in low but will barely budge in first gear high range. Always been supper easy on the clutch , new clutch was also installed 4 years ago.

Clutch pedal adjusted correctly? Will it move in 2nd high range?

Something would have to be wrong to lose a clutch at 280 hours and now, 140 hours later, it does sound like the same thing.

Can you smell anything "burnt" around the bell housing/back of engine?

They replaced it while I was still on the road working consistently so I’m at a loss as to why they replaced so early, no burnt smell anywhere on the equipment. Trans doesn’t sound like anything broke lose inside either.

No play in the clutch
You have no free play when you push down on the clutch pedal?
You should have just under 1 inch of free play. If you have none, the pressure plate is not clamping the disc tightly to the flywheel.

If you keep running it like that, it will get warm and fuzzy also!!

Yees absolutely no free play , the clutch peddle is tighter that dicks hat band. Looks like I’ll need to figure out the adjustments

Stuck Brakes?

Does the engine rev okay or sound labored?

Have you cleaned out the radiator and screens?
