The logic use by politicians any more is the same used in the movie Idiocracy.
No person other than LE shall possess a firearm, either concealed or openly, in counties or cities with more than 1000 violent crimes per 100000 residents since 2021 and more than 90 firearm related emergency department visits per 100000 residents in the last year.
That pretty much guarantees the ratio of bad guys to good guys with guns will significantly increase. And somehow that will decrease violent crimes.
Looks like they will also be collecting statistics to prove this EO is effective. The cooking of those books will be interesting.
That governor should be required to also disarm their own security detail and make it known publicly. For some reason, I’m sure they will not.
