I have been doing this, and just got a parts manual in, this should assist me further in turning it up and also hopefully being able to get a few more RPM out of it too.
Well thought about this too, may be kind of difficult though but something to consider.
It isnt being impatient, it's all this talk of tractors...I DON"T HAVE ONE! This is an amphibious ATV or AATV and it's a toy not a work unit, not anything but something I actually can do this with. The engine is 200 bucks, so not a great huge investment and that being said ya..
IT IS NOT A TRACTOR, PLEASE STOP BRINGING TRACTORS UP IN THIS THREAD LOL It's just a toy I am working on read the whole thread and go to the links and read those threads especially the build thread, you will see and understand IT'S NOT A TRACTOR LOL
not sure if I mentioned this yet in this thread, but I don't have a tractor
I noticed that cap, and decided to check out the manual I see some type of control related to fuel there in the manual, I wasn't sure if it was the KEY
Or not?
Thanks for the tip, I would imagine that turning it up, when a RHB31 turbo is added would be the biggest benefit for sure. That's the goal is to turn it up when I have it all set with a turbo. Heck Ebay had a cam for sale I could get for like 12 bucks and have reground LOL
Yes that's correct, oddly though, finding that fine line between no smoke and no added power is the hard part. I suspect that with a turbo it will be not a problem mind you.
Talking about turbos...this would be not the exact unit I'm getting but the same darn thing
So a rebuild of the fuel system at 450K and meltdown at 500 K is the problem? What 7.3 are you talking about because that's right about the limit for most part on some of the 7.3's, imho You did have the option of going to another shop and having it turned back down btw...or do it yourself. Don't blame the fuel guy since you had other options!
Besides it is only going to fuel...what your foot puts into it!
Guess I neglected to mention this fact I don't have a tractor what so ever!!!
This is what I am working on here, now does that look like a tractor???? No I didn't think so, thus stop bringing up tractors in me thread please...there is not really any comparison to one LMAO
Here it is at a local Car show, kids loved it
in the woods yesterday on a short trip locating a rode to a trail head

Folks, this is just a fun little project of mine and something I am playing with, nothing more, really it's a blast and all but needs more power. I'm hoping that a tuned up, turned up and turbo'd diesel will be able to get me what I'm looking for. Some guys run upwards of 40-50 hp in these machines and have fun doing so, I'm just looking for a few more ponies and some torque too.
I'm hoping this helps to remove any confusion about what the machine is and is not...IT is an AATV it is not a TRACTOR buwah ha ha ha haaaaa
Here the Kubota ZB600C-1 Engine running on a pallet with small leak from IP DOH!!! What do I expect for $200.00...that's why I want to play with turning it up and such...cause it's just that affordable.

Thank you to those who respond and understand what I'm attempting to do and providing good usable information pertaining to my query and are willing to take the time to help me. I'm really not trying to be an ass guys, I'm just not understanding how anyone who actually has read the thread remotely thinks this is a tractor LOL
I came here looking for some help because it seemed favorable to find information here pertaining to Kubota engines. Perhaps this is my mistake for thinking people go outside the box with Kubota engines.
For some reason I'm sure there are people IN THE KNOW of what I want to do and have likely done this. This is not against the law, like collecting rain water in some states is LOL it's just a simple quest for MORE!
Thanks for reading ....
