Your Ford factory lugs IIRC are flat on the bottom and longer. Aftermarket wheels require aftermarket conical lugs. You can use your spare but you'll need to pick up some factory lugs unfortunately.
Yep.

And they sell them in sets of 32. I only need 8!

I have my 5th aluminum wheel so I'll be getting one tire to mount on it as a spare.

You guys are getting way too sophisticated, I have a challenge getting a hyd. filter off and you're trying to complicate how to get information on how to do it.
Sorry. I thought this thread was "Truck Spare Tire Conundrum"

Anyway, I promise to make this my last post on the spoiler subject ... 'cause it's just too cool not to share ... the number of clicks required to reveal the spoiler is (2^n)-1 where n is the nesting depth of the spoilers. The following is 4 levels deep, so it takes 15 clicks to reveal ... (again, sorry for being disruptive)

Alternate issue... Respectfully to the Admin .. I thought that if I paid for the Lifetime Membership that I wouldn't have to deal with ad's. Now I'm seeing McDonald's Big Mac meal deals and I do love Big Macs. But I have a heart issue.

Stopped by the local Ford Dealership. They had the individual factory lug nuts for about $2 each. I bought 8, will keep them with the spare.

Thanks to all for your advice.

hahahaha great timing

coworker bought a new Bronco in May. First thing he did was pull it into the shop, put a lift on it, bigger tires/wheels, lights, and a ton of other things that personally I didn't see a need in doing.

On the way to work today I get a call from him, hey stop on your way to work and see what's up with this bronco, I can't get the spare tire to fit.

Same deal, nuts bottomed out and wouldn't tighten up the spare. His spare is an aftermarket wheel, but it's a different type of wheel than the 4 he rides on--and he had a blowout on the way to work.

So let's get this straight. You tied up $100 grand into a darn car for crying out loud, and your spare don't work?

He's a good dude and we joke with each other like that, so it was all in good fun

He had to call a rollback and have it towed to the tire shop. I told him I'd drag him (tow rope) but he wasn't excited about being yanked to the tire shop by an old ugly F250.

Would have added real insult to injury if you yanked him in with an old beat up Chevy S10 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
