Not an answer to your question... but are you moving it because the lid, when opened, hits the loader frame? I'm assuming the factory location was just behind the left front wheel.

Yes the factory location is a joke. The door will not open all the way. It hits the loader linkage. It’s also susceptible to damage being so low..
It is behind the left tire..

If you post some pictures of the current location, you may get some answers.

On mine, I moved it over and replaced the factory one with a bigger one.

On both my M's, the tool boxes are mounted on a bracket below the loader frame on the left side and everything clears just fine. My only issue is when I fuel them. The filler neck for the saddle tanks is over the tool box so filling them up, one has to be careful or diesel will get in the box if the lid is open (and it usually is when fueling because I keep my gloves inside).

On my M7060 the cold weather made the factory tool box "hinge" crack off so last year I replaced the entire box with this one (see photos below). I made it from 1/8" thick plate and it has a double hinge such that the lid first lifts up a small amount and then pulls forward for clearance thereby allowing its volume to be about twice as large as the factory one. The lid has a gasket which makes it dust and weather proof. All unpainted surfaces and attachments are stainless steel.

Any chance you could provide dimensions? I’m thinking I’ll go this route,,
My tractor is 4 hrs away from my mig welder..

Saw an interesting idea. Fellow utilized the hollow tube at the loader bracket for tool storage. He inserted a short length of 4 " pvc pipe which fit rather snuggly. Then he used a common compression test plug to close the opening. The length of the tube is deep enough to accommodate most wrenches, etc.

Photo is at front loader torque tube but the tube at rear mounting bracket is equally useful.

You can make the dimensions anything you want. Mine has the same footprint dimensions as the original Kubota polyethylene tool box, the lid is one-inch in depth, and the tool box itself is five-inches in depth. All the metal is 1/8" in thickness.
