So when I bought my B6000, I got atv trailer with it. It had no tipping mechanism for it, so I fabricated simple one for it as this was one of my first "larger" metal works at home.

It seems to work ok, scoop full of half dry wood lifted easily. It could've been taller but I thought I need to fit it inside garage/sheds without disassembling it and making it telescopic.

For next work I'm thinking of making a rear bucket, whipped out something in CAD already (I blatantly took ideas from already existing buckets, that may be ok as this is only for my personal use :) ). 3mm steel may be thick enough, as the b6000 isn't too heavy itself?

Looks pretty good. One thing you may want to consider is that most dirt scoops are made to where you can hook them up so that they scoop in forward or reverse.

In your case maybe you only need to scoop in reverse, but if you ever use it for grading moving forward is nice.

I like the trailer dump, can the winch line double to help load the trailer?

One thing about the rear scoop I have is that it gets too loaded at back (closed) wall and won’t dump properly. So you might want to put a handle/lever to use to dump it when it refuses to dump on its own. I am probably going to add some hydraulic cylinder to mine just because I think that is “cool”. Also if you are planning on a pull type release lever, make it easy to pull by welding on a longer lever and think about how you intend to operate it (rope, rod, cable).

Thanks! Fortunately the trailer box was hinged so I had just to make the winch mast. I have to test sometime with logs if the winch can load them. Shops around here sell winch operated loading booms (for logs etc), but figured I didn't need one so I made this simpler version.

Thanks for the ideas for bucket, I'll take them in consideration and add the handle (some kind of quick removable design) to help dump the bucket :)
