A big chunk of the new MX6000 HSTC showed up from Japan this past Friday but we're still waiting on the FEL and a few other pieces. Now I'm really starting to get excited.
Very nice. My open station MX6000 will be delivered next week. I’m getting anxious.A big chunk of the new MX6000 HSTC showed up from Japan this past Friday but we're still waiting on the FEL and a few other pieces. Now I'm really starting to get excited.

You already have one. Pull the FEL of your other one until the new one arrives. Problem solved. I take it you would rather use the cab one right? The L6060 is without doubt a nice upgrade over the MX6000, and if I didn't already have a lot of money invested in this endeavor with implements, trailers and other accessories I would opt for the L6060 every time. Comparing transmissions is like comparing the space shuttle to a crop duster!Nice. My dealer had a brand new one with FEL available last week (already assembled) but I turned it down for the L6060. HST + on the M62 spoiled me.
Thanks, but I'm ok with the waiting part. There are more parts needed than just the FEL. I chose every available option and those parts are trickling in also. You already have one. Funny you mention the investment in other things…When the dealer called me to inquire about the MX6000 I thought hard about it, but then realized I had $1500 worth of mods sitting in my garage that only fit the L6060. That looks like a horizontal bump. Either it fell over on that side, or they hit it with something (fork lift, etc). Double check that the glass or chassis it sits in isnt damaged. It’s amazing just how little of a nudge from this heavy equipment it takes to break something.Anyone notice that the top of the cab is dented? My dealer just called to tell me that they've ordered a replacement top which will be here before the other parts. They've seen a couple like this already and think it has something to do with how they're being shipped. The plastic top is held on with screws and supposedly you have to remove it to get access to some A/C components.
Buying the tractor is just the start. It's not hard to spend $20k on implements, another $5k to $10k on a trailer and $2k on accessories.Funny you mention the investment in other things…When the dealer called me to inquire about the MX6000 I thought hard about it, but then realized I had $1500 worth of mods sitting in my garage that only fit the L6060. I have a great relationship with the guys at the local dealer so I'm not worried about any issues not being addressed. They're friends and not just sales people and I know that they didn't do the damage but will take care of it.That looks like a horizontal bump. I have almost 100 hours on my MX since buying it in February but it goes into regen way more often than every 50 hours. I might be idling it too much.MCMXI Glad to hear your getting closer to having the cabbed MX-6000. My open MX-6000 that I bought back in June has been flawless. Its been averaging a regen about every fifty hours. The only dislike I have with the tractor is I wish it had a larger fuel tank. Its been a pretty nice fall around here so a lot more spot spraying has went on than normal. I need to give mine a final clean up and it will go into the shed until spring as I do my snow removal with my S-750 Bobcat.
Put a ring on her finger. If she has huntable acreage is she looking to adopt?I have almost 100 hours on my MX since buying it in February but it goes into regen way more often than every 50 hours. I might be idling it too much.
These are such amazing tractors and my girlfriend thinks that I should keep the open station for her and have the cabbed model for me. She was grading the driveway yesterday and doing a great job.
I'm way ahead of you on that!Put a ring on her finger. If she has huntable acreage is she looking to adopt?
