I had one up for over seven years, setup in the woods. a few small pine tree branches pierced it. Duct taped them up. Some wear at the framing, not significant. Had some pretty heavy snow loads on it, skewed the frame slightly. Certainly worth the $160 from HF.
Bought a new shelter this year from HF ($200). I also bought a replacement/spare shell ($70)
A lot easier than tarping it up at the end of the day.

this could work. The bars that hold the canvas down on the sides are adjustable and can be moved up or down to adjust the tension on the cover. I could probably loosen them and get some pipe insulation in there.
Hopefully that works out for ya! The pipe insulation would hold up longer (I believe) than the noodles. We use that tactic for our EZ Ups at the track. It increases tension enough to prevent water from pooling.

Got this done for the most part.

Lag bolted the middle legs down and then used metal strapping on the end ones since they don’t have holes for lags.

Put gravel on the inside for a floor. May end up adding more depending on how it lasts. It will be nice to be able to move things out of the detached garage and finally get my workshop back.
