Thank you. I did not come up with the idea Plenty of similar examples on the web.

Perhaps I will clean up the drawings and make them available. The tradeoff here is there is less welding but some significant machine work.

This is a nice box and pan brake for sheet metal.
But if your looking to bend thick materials then of course this won't do it.

I have one of their regular brakes that I modded/welded to fit my Baileigh 30T press. It's just "OK" to me. I've struggled to get decent 90° bends, and making duplicate or repetitive parts is a bigger challenge.

If I was to do it over again, I'd get some lower/upper dies form eBay and make my own setup.

Ken, this guy has a good idea for "repeatability" on his SWAG brake. At the 3:50 mark he explains it.

Not sure if it would help you, just a "heads up".

A simple press break is a useful tool addition if you already have a shop press. Have used mine over 20+ years on a 50 ton press. Open box demo from Northern Tool store. A finger press option would have been nice.

Did order large set of 12” press plates from SWAG. Postmaster still mad about those packages.

Takes a bit of tooling, blocks and drops to fully utilize a shop press. Always adding to the collection.
