Should I return it?:ROFLMAO:

Really it’s got dozens of scratches, but I’m kidding about returning it. I know we all like our new stuff shiny when we get it, I’m making light of that.

I got this to see if I can rake up twigs and branches smaller than my wrist, but not pick up too much pine needles and grass. That’s why I left every other tooth out.

it was $230 from China via an Amazon vendor. 6’ long (two 3’ pieces bolt together to make the back bone). Weighs about 85 lbs.

I absolutely expected it to show up looking like the box went through a washing machine and scratched all to hell. I was not disappointed. Here’s what the contents looked like when I opened the box. Sorry no close ups of the terrible scratches.

But I expect new US made and shipped equipment to show up with a few beauty marks (e.g. hopefully nothing worse than the first 10 hours of use will put on it anyhow).

Here is is assembled and on the little B. Have yet to use it. When it dries up a bit more, I’ll update with how it worked out for what I wanted to do.

Looks like the one I have in my shed except mine has all its teeth. Will be interesting to hear how it works with half the teeth. Hope it does what you want it to do.

1.. I HATE styrofoam
2.. Bit of a puzzle on HOW to properly pack the 'springs'
3.. dang good price for all the parts
4,,'some assembly required', anything left over ??

All the parts were in the box still and if I’d mounted all the springs, there’d be no left over parts. As it is, I have 13 “extra” spring teeth and bolts.

The USA heavy duty stuff is nice, but sometimes that China stuff is just fine and hard to beat. I have clamp on forks I use on my backhoe, like $200 delivered and now like 5 years later still going strong moving 1,800# feed sacks and whatnot regularly.

Should do the trick for my intended usage as long as the teeth don’t snap off or some such nonsense. I’ll report back once I knock the shine off.

I can't think of any way that would work for me for anything. What are you planning on doing with it? Raking limbs?

First post covers most of those. Shipping was included in the price and it took about 10 days. Actual vendor name was YITAMOTOR, I suspect just one of thousands of middlemen for made in China products.

It wasn’t EA.

Nailed it. As stated in the initial post.

it’s actually made for “pine straw” (needles).

If you have a welder, plasma cutter, grinder, stock steel, a mag drill, milling machine, lathe, millwright skills and a heated shop the chinese equipment is a great deal.

The only thing on that list I don't have yet is a mag drill.

Any update? I have a stand of white pine that drop sticks, limbs, needles, and cones like it's their job. Kind of thinking one of these would help clean up that area without getting to wild.
