Just purchased a new to me 93 l3450. Need to know where serial number is located and how shaft from motor to cooling fan is connected to motor . Milne I loose looks like there might be some type of rubber bushing missing or does it bolt direct to motor. Thanks Carl

Moosefd, welcome.

Go to this link http://www.kubota.com/part/partsList.aspx and put a check mark to accept the above, then scroll down and enter your tractor model number in the box L3450).

You should come to a listing of all the components to that tractor. Go to "cooling water system". You'll find a drawing showing all the components and how they go together. You can also get a part number there.

If you choose, you can go to https://www.colemanequip.com/ and enter your part number and see if they have it and it's cost. Or call them, they'll send you parts if needed.

Good luck.

Attached is the brake down of the cooling fan. There are 2 different styles based off of serial numbers. File 3450.jpg is for S/N <=50198 & 3450..jpg is for S/N >=50199.

There should be an identification plate on the main frame, if that plate is not legible the tractor S/N is also on the transmission housing on the right hand side of the tractor.
The engine S/N is on the engine crank case on the right side.

Hope this helps you

Well I found water temp sender it was in top of head at rt rear. Still haven't found a serial number ,tag is missing from frame can't locate engine or a tranny number. I would like to determine what model of l3450 it is , the only thing I'm sure of is it isn't a gst , it does have a shuttle shift and fwd

If it isn't a 4wd then it's a L3450F, 2wd gear drive.
EDIT: Sorry just reread your post, if it does have 4wd and shuttle shift, it can be either a GST, and WET, or a DT.
GST has shifter on the left and it slides N-8 (but you say it's not that) and says GST on it.
WET has same shifter as DT but it will have a wet clutch, look for EC in big bold letters.

If you get the Serial# I can tell you exactly what model you have.

There is no frame tag on that model, the number will be just above the floor boards on the right hand side in a rectangle window in the transmission cover.

Found number on tranny L3540d 51949
You did mean L3450D right?
Sorry but the serial # does not register, not that uncommon with these years.

The other way to tell if it's a DT, or a DT-Wet is the clutch linkage.

DT

DT-Wet

Correct L3450D . It appears to have the wet clutch so what is the designation of this model? Thanks everyone for the help.

I need a little bi more information. Type of oil you use in front fwd axle and how much. Mine does not have a dipstick like shown in manuals. It has a small plug with a breather on top where the dipstick is shown in schematics. How do I check it ?

UDT or 80w 90
I will try and get you a measurement off mine so you can measure you level.

Other option is that you could drain it all and then refill it per the measurements in the WSM or OPS.
