Facebook jail is when your ability to post is suspended. I think the only member who's been banned is Sidecar Flip....at least to my knowledge.

I had a FB account once upon a time but "deleted" it after watching a few documentaries about how social media is used to shift public opinion and sell my data. Also, Mark Zuckerberg is a creep of the highest order.
Facebook is the place where people go to download all their personal drama in life and then get upset when other people react to it. It is like having a seat at the "cool kids table" in the lunchroom of the mental hospital.

I also avoid controversial/confrontational topics which generally only lead to ill feelings. I had enough of that to last a lifetime when I "worked for the man".

Facebook was cool when I got on years ago. Heard from people I haven't heard from in 30+ years. Then, way too much information from lots of them, caused me to cancel it.
Starting a thread by SCREAMING might cause the same result! Be careful...

I’m on Facebook to somewhat keep up with people I otherwise wouldn’t or haven’t. It’s been nice for that but there’s a lot of stupid crap that comes with it. I don’t get into politics or religion. Anyone that cares what I think about politics or religion, that’s a discussion. Social media, IMO, is a poor venue for devisive topics where emotions can run high. Rarely if ever seen anything constructive come out of those “discussions”. Have only had two real problems.
First, when I made a profile I told my wife my pic had to be of us, not just me. She approved the pic ahead of time because, pretty as she is, she hates pictures of herself. She saw it one day and ordered me to change it but wouldn’t approve a similar replacement. So now it’s just me. So now I get random friend requests from hot girls in Ukraine or similar places that are most likely sweaty fat guys in Nigeria. I told her that would happen without her in the pic but she doesn’t care. Of course I don’t accept their requests but it’s irritating.
Got put in jail only once. There was a random question asking how do you know when your spouse is upset with you. A bunch of my friends were answering and it was kind of humorous so I posted, “She says…” and quoted her. I was put in jail for violating community standards due to threats of great bodily harm or some such. Appealed it as contextually reasonable and review was denied. Haven’t quoted her since and have stayed out of jail.
