Seafoam themselves say a gas engine can run on 50/50 mix but a diesel can run on 100% straight Seafoam. So it shouldn't damage anything to add some in lesser concentrations.

It's good removing water from gas/fuels and keeping fuel systems clean.. I use it in all my gas for yard equipment, outboards, chainsaws.
I'm a believer but I'm sure others will disagree. You have to decide.

I’ve used it in my truck. It seemed to help a little. I run it in my gasoline engines, and it seems to help there, too.

I use it in all my equipment. Especially in items being stored for the winter.

I used to use it in my 2 Stroke snow sleds, never any issues. Since I went to a 4 Stroke I just use Lucas Ethanol treatment in all gas equipment.
In the Kubota it's Stanadyne only.

It also helps to hum the “hokey-pokey” while slowly backing-away from the tractor after pouring it in.

I've never used it in a diesel, and the can certainly reads like snake oil. It won't fix mechanical problems and there is a limit to what it can clean in a fuel system. However, unlike many similar products, Seafoam does work and I have seen ample objective evidence of a strong Seafoam treatment cleaning up carbs to such a degree that the result seems almost miraculous. It won't clean out completely plugged passages, but can do wonders on restricted passages. If the engine will run, however poorly, there is hope.

My go-to procedure for such cases is to mix a can of Seafoam with a gallon of gas in a portable fuel tank or empty gas tank. Drain whatever crap is in the carb(s), connect the portable tank in place of the regular tank if appropriate and run the engine at a fast idle for 20-30 minutes to get treated fuel into every nook and cranny possible. Shut it down and let sit overnight if possible, but at least a few hours. Pour the remaining mix into the gas tank and dilute with another 3 or 4 gallons of gas. Drive the heck out of it for a while, then tune the carb(s).

If that doesn't work, then the carb needs to be stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the hard way. Or there is some other issue in play.

But again, I personally have never used it in a diesel engine.

I use it in all my small gas engines, 2 and 4 cycle. I have minimal fuel (10% ethanol) and carb problems. I mix it per directions, 1 oz/gal for 4 cycle engines and 2 oz/gal in 2 cycle engines.
I have resurrected a few gas engines with dirty carbs using Seafoam.
I treat all my stored gas with it.

I know many areas do not offer Ethanol free gasoline. It is widely available here, and I use it in all my yard power tools. We get winter treated diesel as well. I still like to use fuel additives, so before I unload fuel cans out of my truck, both gas and diesel gets treated. I have not had a problem with diesel, but I’ve noticed a distinct improvement with rough idle and skipping, by using additives. Your results may vary

My jerry cans for power equipment premium gasoline, and tractor reg diesel, all get the equivalent of 1 oz/US gal of Seafoam added when I fill them. It works very well as a cleaner, stabilizer and moisture controller. I know this because after 2 1/2 years sitting outside unprotected with a full tank of SF treated gas, my walk behind snow blower started first pull and ran smoothly. My newish green 22hp gas riding lawn mower's manual actually recommends storing it over winter with a full tank with SEA FOAM as a stabilizer. Works great! Pre SF days any gas equipment left with fuel for a season or 2 required a complete emptying and fresh gas or trouble 4 sure.

I bought an old 1981 50HP Mercury Thunderbolt outboard with boat 6 years ago and after a SF gas treatment it started WAY faster, idled WAY more smoothly, and the fuel was fine after a
winter's storage. My employee recommended I try it, and I was sold on it right away.

I add a can of SF to my 2006 Tacoma's gas tank every oil change. No exaggeration or kidding, the old pickup starts with barely a crank of the starter right after adding it, where before it always takes a second to fire up. This is consistent behavior after treating my pickup's gas with SF. Starts, idles, and runs noticeably better. And it's not from the oil change.

My 2017 B2650HSD has 660 hours and has always had 1/128 SF as stabilizer and treatment in the regular diesel. I have never had fuel issues in our sometimes brutal winter cold here in MB and she always starts with a little glow even if with the block heater NOT plugged in. The fuel has never gelled or grown anything in it.

Just in the saving on wasted fuel before SF days, when all the summer gas tools got drained of gas which was dumped, or it burned off sitting there idling until the tank and carb run dry, I can justify the expense of Seafoam maintenance treatment for all my fuels.

Only tried it on an old Stihl brushcutter that got hit with e-gas back in the earlier days of e-gas.

Seafoam didn't cure that, but I don't think it was an issue with Seafoam.

No additive was going to fix that one...I've kept it an may resurrect it someday.
