I saw this on the local news today.

First the trains, then the planes, now the ships . Hopefully the cars don’t go crazy, at least they don’t have shift by wire, throttle by wire, brake by wire, steer by wire or 5g modems in em.

My 2016 the accelerator is controlled by wire, same for the steering. I have no idea how most of the systems work or don't work reliably.
