Not sure what you mean by 'stole'. If they replaced the copper with PEX you are better off and far as the copper pipe being 'stole', it ain't worth much today anyway. Was 5 years ago when the Chinese were sucking up every pound of scrap they could get but that market dried up years ago.

Well I'll explain, they replaced my copper flex lines which were only a few months
old that THEY had installed when they installed the heater, and charged me for
new ones. They took mine w/o my permission, no doubt to sell to another
customer as new. I only noticed after they left.

Like I said ,,,, crooks and this 71 yr. old has had enough of being cheated,
lied to and scammed. Like I've stated before after the heater failed again
I decided it was my turn. It cost me a lot of money but I struck back.
No apologies.

I could have replaced the defective part as as I had 3 times before but I decided
to get my pound of flesh from the dishonest #%%&((@ who cheated me
and my family, ( we are on a fixed income) to start with and I did. No regrets.

As they say "The devil always gets his due".

I'm going to hit on a couple points then just move on.

What the unit never had a warranty?

Again, you think the guy's a crook yet you've had him back to repair the issue 4 different times????

How do you know know that they discontinued selling them due to issues?
And that sounds to me like if it is the case, then they are not crocks, they are just smart business people.
I would stop selling products I found to be unreliable.
Just because they sold a product and installed it doesn't mean they are responsible for making that product, that's the manufacturer's responsibility.
