You are not understanding this has nothing to do with the implement side.

The female couplers have a male thread that screws into the female port on the valve.

What I was describing was buying a coupler with female thraad and using a male to male adapter to convert it to male.

Okay I’m following you now

you can buy replacement coupler, the price is about 5-10 USD, but the shipping free and tax would be different. My quick connect fitting is ISO B 1/4, I only buy a female coupler $6, then the shipping fee $11. ISO A cheaper than ISO B.
The couplers used on the M series are nothing like the ones you are fsmiliar with and close to $100 each.

From what I found for my model the thread is 3/8 BSPP. Through the dealer they are a little over $100. I received the seal kits from the dealer yesterday. Should work on them in the next few days.

@JasonW , would you mind taking some photos and posting here to show the process? I can't find a schematic showing the internals of these Faster couplers. Also, what seal kit did you get from the dealer?

Thanks! :)

Got this done today. Pretty simple just need a vise. The Kubota seal kit only had one rubber o-ring and one nylon o-ring that goes on the side that threads into the tractor. There are two more o-rings on the quick connect side that are different sizes than the other end.
The picture is with the coupler fully disassembled.

How do you get the BB's back in? Some grease so they stick to the outside?

I thought I was going to have to use the grease trick but I just stood it up on end and they fall on place.

What's the diameter of the black and nylon seals? Curious if mine are the same. Also, I assume that you didn't need to remove the spring loaded collar in order to replace the two o-ring/seals on the other end of the coupler.

Did it fix your leak?

I would say yes and no. Ran it some tilling up the garden and one was almost pouring fluid. Disconnected the hoses and found a piece of the nylon o-ring.

Disassembled that coupler to find it had pinched and rolled over the rubber o-ring.

Reused an old one(both were pretty mangled from pulling them out with a pic) and it appears to have fixed the leak on that coupler. But now the other one has started to seep. I haven’t taken it apart yet but I suspect it may have been damaged during install.

They were lubed with hydraulic fluid but they might be that fragile. So for now it’s to be continued.
