Have opportunity to grab a land pride Rb2684 with hydraulics for cheap....$250 cheap!

I have a bx23s which is WAY too small to handle an 84" blade.

Thinking I can just cut a foot off each side of the blade and turn it into a 60" or even a 55". which is probably manageable.

Land pride recommends the cheaper/smaller RB15 series for my little toy tractor. Is there anything about the RB26 series that would not mount to the 3 point hitch on my BX?

This is my cabin tractor and used to clear snow on 1500 foot of driveway. Primarily use the front snowblower but can't pass up the deal for a rear blade if it will work.

I mean I guess you could the price is right. But I’m thinking it’s still gonna be too much for the bx. The 26 series is beefier and I believe taller moldboard. But to answer your question no it should hook to your tractor unless someone fabricated the blade to go to cat 2 or 3.

Buy it. It's not that heavy if you look at the specs at the landpride site. You'll likely only save maybe 100 lbs.

When you angle it, the width will be helpful. But, if you want something lighter, I'd trade it to a dealer. It will like be easier than cutting the wear bar and blade then finishing it.

I use the same width. Sure, my tractor is bigger.

Thanks guys. I'll go buy it. If for some reason it won't work I suppose it will be easy to sell and get my money back.

Sounds like a heck of a deal as long as it not bent, not too much can go wrong with a blade even with some paint you could prob make a good buck or two selling it if need be. Good luck

buy it, install it, swing it , mark it past tires a bit, remove it, cut the ends of it, reinstall it
now go have FUN......

PS keep ends to make 'bolt on box blade ends'...
