There are also patches of low lying brush and pricker bushes. My neighbor has a brushhog he said I could borrow. Would that cut through this kind of vegetation?

A brush cutter will definitely cut through that. You will want to walk through it first (if that is possible) to find any holes, humps or stuff that you want to avoid. The first cut should be as high as possible and then you will want to drag out any large diameter logs then cut shorter. The brush cutter may be able to shred the logs if they are rotten, but chunks can come ou

See this type of walk behind mower Billy Goat. I know DR POWER also makes a similar walk behind and there are some smaller pull behind rough cut mowers.

There are walk-behind brush cutters available. However, you may be able to do what you want by backing a rotary cutter in. That's what we often do to get in areas with tall/large brush.

This is probably a dumb question, and maybe doesn't belong in this forum, but I had a quick-hitch attachment for my old B2601 tractor. It is what I used to hang suitcase weights on when I didn't have the backhoe on it. When I was reading about some of the PTO woodchippers, they said they could attach using a quick-hitch, but I am assuming the one for my B2601 is probably too small for my L6060 tractor. I'll get a different one if needed, but do I get a Cat 1 or Cat 2? Which is correct for the L6060?

I don't know if what you have on your B2601 will work, but a Land Pride QH16 will work just fine. On the tractor side it's all CAT 1, so if your L6060 is like my MX6000 and M6060 you'll need CAT 2 to CAT 1 bushings, and on the implement side it's CAT 1 on the lift arm pins and CAT 3 on the top link pin.
