Who knows if I can renew the oil seal at the back of the PTO output shaft of the L1500 without split the tracktor and whitout emptied the whole oil system

Do you need to replace the seal on back of pto shaft?(see attached pictures)
If so, it doesn't need split or remove any oil. Just remove 4 bolts on seal retainer then replace pto seal.

Would it make sense to replace that bearing with one that has a seal on the 'outside' only, to reduce leakage ?
