So has anyone here purchased this exact pallet fork frame . I came across this while searching for “frame only” . My employer has provided me with a nice selection of forks which is why im searching for only the frame and trying to do it on the cheap . Leaves more cash for other attachments 😀. Currently considering the ProWorks frame , a tad bit under $ 400 but im concerned about the( fork) visibility thru the frame . Any input ?

visibilty... you'll get used to flying half blind...hopefully, they ALL have viz problems. Depends on forks, frame, tractor and YOU. It's the 'light of sight' thing..

really easy though, curl forks an inch, put in float, forward until skid on forks....practice, lots of it....EVERY combination is different....

can't use a single fork, dead center..

what concerns me the most...those SHARP POINTY extensions on the frame sides !!!! I don't have enough BOXES of bandaids in the garage !!!!

+1 on the "sharp pointy extensions"!
They are obviously intended as steps, but......ouch for SURE !!!!

The most important consideration is whether the fork attachment design will work with the forks you have available.

Yep. Don't get a class 2 frame when you have class 3 forks, like somebody did :censored:

Good advice and observations. All set on the forks and frame. Both are Class 2. I must agree with that step, looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Those kind of steps are required when your using it on a skid steer.
But those steps are truly pitiful, they look like a 100% poorly executed after thought!
I would whack them off and add a set of eyelets, as they do come in handy having attachment points for odd loads.
I don't like the thickness, or look of the thickness, of the top fork hanging bar, mine is much heavier!

I think your being scammed.
Unless your getting it used.
I just looked that up and from cheapest dealer it's going for $ 825.00 Plus $200.00 shipping.

The step looks like a very very miniature bale spear for small bales like for feeding hamsters or rabbits 🥶…I hope it comes with shin guards.

That Ebay ad is what got me looking into this . The sellers website lists only the backing plate for $375+tax . I’ve got business coming up in Tennessee that will bring me within 40 miles of their facility . I’ll stop by and lay my eyes on it .

Ok got it, the one i did point to has the forks.
If the top fork attachment plate looks beefier in person than pic's, than I would say it's a great deal!

I appreciate the advice on the upper plate and I’m definitely seeing what your saying ! 👍

Looks like a good deal. I got a frame from Titan Attachments/palletforks.com for about $400 a year or so ago, and it doesn't have the top guard. They're $440 now, delivered, I think. You could always modify the Pro Works one for visibility, if needed.

The top bar on the Titan has passed the full L35 capability test. I've bent the lip on the bottom bar a couple of times, but it straightened right back out.

What is the thickness of your upper top bar ? Since NIW brought it to my attention, I've been studying different brands and 3/8" appears to be the standard for class 2 forks.

I'll measure it later. The top is tapered, it can only be so thick and fit in the fork bracket. It also has some additional meat further down. Looks very similar to the picture of the Pro Works.
