Posting multiple photos HELP!!!!!!!!

How do you post multiple attachments? I can get one one here but the second attachment deletes the first attachment. HELP !!!!!!! my 6 year old granddaughter isn't here to help Papa

Click on the "Manage Attachment" button:

Then another window "Manage Attachments" with pop up:

The click the Browse button, select the first file. The click the Upload button. When that file is uploaded, repeat the steps till you have all the files you want to upload.

Go down to "Manage Attachments"

Click on "browse",

Select file from Hard Drive (or where ever you have it),

Click "Upload" (in upper right hand corner),

For Picture #2.....go back and click "browse" again (and repeat as above),

When all pictures are loaded click "Close this window",

Send so we can all see it!!!

Make sure the dimensions of the picture are as seen in the manage attachments table too!
And the only other snag I've hit is maybe the file name. It seems that the forum software is pickier than your computer may be.

Are you waiting until the previous file has completed uploading?

As D2Cat said, make sure you wait till you see the file show up in the window. I have put a red box around the section what the file will show up in:

I've done everything you guys have suggested , it doesn't say browse it says choose file with are in my photo library ( I-Pad ) and when I try to upload the second attachment it deletes my first attachment . Very frustrating what to do next.

Mdhughes, I can barely go thru the process in my head and tell someone how to do it, and you post all those examples!

I need to get someone to help me with that kind of stuff.

I can't turn the TV volume up with one remote because there's a sound bar attached and it takes a different remote, and I can't figure out how to/or is it possible? I feel bcbull378's pain.

Choose ONE at a time. You can't choose more than one at that step. You choose a single file for uploading. once it completes that pic's upload; the manage files returns and you repeat the process for next pic. Don't close the manager till you've uploaded all the pics you want in the post. Think 5 that is the max per post. Keep eye on top of manager. It will add some text to it to identify if the pic was too large or of wrong file type etc.

did test to make sure there were no errors on the board by loading two irrelevant pics. They are below

I've had the same issues posting from my iPad at OTT, I don't think there is a solution that won't involve the admins and a software upgrade. Works fine on other forums so I know it's not on my end.

With an i-pad, it might be easier to upload files using the tap talk app. When writing the post, you hit the photo icon above the keypad as your writing the post. It will bring you to your files, and then you can tap on the photo you want. It also makes it hand since you can place the photo directly in the middle of the post as your writing it

Yes I have no problem loading the first photo it's when I upload the second photo the first is deleted, manage attachment looks exactly the same it shows up just as you outlines thank for trying to help guys I must be an idiot. We have the grandkids Monday I'll see if my 6 year old can figure this out. Im pulling the photos from my photo library Before OTT changed the format ( server I think that's what it's called ) I didn't have these problems

[browse] vs [choose]

prior to doing anything with photos; if you hit the [paper clip] button amongst the text menu items in the Reply to Thread panel this will take you to the Photo Manager pop up. There the button you use to get pics from your hard drive says CHOOSE.

If you go into the Photo manager via section below the Reply to Thread panel, labeled additional options ...... one will come up with the same Photo Manager pop up but it will say BROWSE.

They function the same way.
