When moving steering left to right the front axle will move back and forth on the pin about a 1/4 inch and I don't see shims listed for it. any help appreciated

Funny,
I just looked at mine this weekend and it does the same thing, just not as much movement.
I am thinking some thin bronze washers/shims, that way if it binds, it could mash out the bushing...

Was just looking through the owners manual on this and it appears that all one would have to do is tighten the bolt and reinstall the locking spring for the pivot.
I'll get to it one day...

I have the same problem with my B5200E. Half the play in my steering is coming from the axle moving forward and backwards. I was going to pull the pin to measure it and try to find a hardened shim so it wont wear out so fast.

Replace the bushings that are in it would be my 2 cents?;)

Kubota parts diagram does not show any bushings available in the center pin area. Guess I will have to install a shim. Anyone happen to know what diameter the center pin is?

The front pin on a B7100 is lubed by the oil in the front end, no grease zerk needed.

jethro210,
There are 2 bushings in the front end.

I also had this on my b7100. I added a large washer and tightened the nut with pin to take out the play. It still leaks a very small amount of oil though. I want to replace the o rings and bushings but, it's going to be a little bit of a job. From what I can tell the whole front end will have to be dropped because the oil pan is in the way of pulling the pin. Anyone see it differently?

Then you would be looking for a diagram for a HST-E (2wd) not a HST-D (4wd).;)
And yes you would be right no bushings.:p

To get rid of front and back play on those just shim it with a washer.:)
