I climbed up high on the side of a mountain to get this mirror-image reflection of Nevada's Clan Alpine mountains in the flooded flat below:
Food…….King Crab, Moose Bacon and Sourdough Bread. 
Ate the bacon a couple days ago, baked the sourdough this morning and will be cooking the 20lbs of red king crab this weekend for friends and family.

Skiing today….beautiful weather. By Friday there is supposed to be up to 5-7 feet more snow! Hopefully, I am out here by then.

I’ll be sure to post pics in that thread in in a couple days, after the crab feed. Won’t be any video of the fastest way to shuck King Crab legs though……….perfected after several hundred pounds of King Crab consumption over decades of fishing/working in the Bering Sea and a trade secret known only to my friends and family.I think you meant this thread...

. It works with pretty much any crab, but eventually they get too small to even bother. Growing up in SE Alaska, Dungeness are still my favorite, but they don’t have the “Wow” factor I need for this particular occasion.Here’s some pics to keep the thread on topic.
