Hey all.... It was suggested I disassemble and clean the relief cartridge on the Kubota B2410/Husco 9210-B1A D02 FEL control valve... Here are the results and a recap of what it is doing.
Tom… I disassembled the relief valve on the Husco as suggested. No obstruction or debris was indicated anywhere. I thoroughly cleaned the relief cartridge components and reassembled. I still have the issue on the bucket raising side of the control valve.
The control valve works wonderfully in the bucket lowering and float. As I push the lever up the lowers throughout the travel of the lever from the neutral position up to and including the float indent lock.
When I raise the bucket by pulling the lever back from the neutral position the bucket raises normally only in the first 1/3 of the lever’s pull back travel. Once I pass that point to through full lever pull back travel the bucket does nothing…. It remains at the raised height it was in when the lever was pulled back beyond the 1/3 travel distance from neutral.
I am fairly certain the issue is in the valve because I have another Husco control valve off a Kubota of unknown size and the bucket works in all positions. The reason I am reluctant to use this valve unit is because it has no Main Relief Cartridge and the last thing I want to do is over pressurize my system as this may have caused the failure of the Main Delivery line from the Hydro pump to the rest os the tractor. A leak developed at the brazed joint on the loader supply/power through block. Never in a million years would I have suspected a leak there. But it did and it is fixed.
I am thinking the issue in my valve lies in the spool somewhere.
Any suggestions? I am scratching my head on this one…..

PS…. I took my valve to Beilers Hydraulics in Southern PA where they bench tested it. They said it was fine so I am assuming the issue is when the spool is under way with the resistance of lifting the bucket.
