It amazes me that people don't know what or who VEVOR is.

It's a chinese owned and operated Multi level marketing company.

My opinion is they (and Amazon) take advantage of the customer, whom they see only as a source of income. Though the typical Vevor customer wants the cheapest product, and that's what they often get.

Amazon "takes advantage of me" almost daily and I could not be happier.

I dont buy Vevor products mainly because they cant accurately describe them. The one and only item I ever bought was a digital crsne scale and its worked just fine.

VEVOR is not a multi level franchising business (Amsoil, Mary Kay, etc.).

It is a direct to consumer online retailer primarily dealing with low cost goods manufactured and sourced in mainland China. They have experienced explosive growth in the last 20 years.

The people I work with at Vevor take problems with items very seriously. Be sure to contact them and let them know if you have had issues. Usually it's a vendor issue they address the next day plus pull stock according to serial numbers and replace the item. The first store was in Alaska and soon they will be like harbor freight opening stores in major cities. People seem to have an appetite for low cost goods that will work for their requirements and that's not going away. Only trouble is they have no service parts onshore at this time so it could take extra time to ship them from China. Actually the pandemic drove people to companies like Amazon, Harbor Freight, Temu, Vevor, and many others ordering online to save money and avoid crowds. Biggest problem I have seen is FedEx shipping damage due to mishandling heavy packages. Not US made as some require, but create thousands of US jobs for dock workers, shipping industry, warehouse workers, and office jobs. Plus soon retail location jobs.

Have really not had issues with Vevor stuff until the aforementioned oil extractor which I now think may have been a "one off" issue with that particular unit. I did buy it off Amazon as an Amazon Outlet deal. It was apparently a return. It did not look used but perhaps someone ho purchased noticed something wrong with it?
As for being MLM or "getting hold" of my money, on the contrary. The company has never once bugged me or done anything untoward. Hell I get bothered more from Hazard Fraught then I ever have from Vevor. And I've seen the products to be good to excellent quality. (this being the 3rd or 4th I've bought from them either directly or through Amazon).
I first purchased a chamber vacuum sealer for my kitchen. My ONLY gripe with that one is I wished I'd bought the next size up. But it's a top notch device. Back before Christmas I bought a dual element Induction Stovetop. That could be dropped in a counter or used freestanding. Again, top notch product. My only gripe is the temp readout is only in Deg C and it has no way to switch to Deg F.
Yeah, it's all Chinese but hell so was my Mityvac, and it seems 90% of the small goods I buy or need to buy. Even though I make a conscious effort to avoid Chinese stuff. It's just not possible.
I remember back in the 50s, 60s and into the 70s people saying much the same only about Japanese stuff.
Well now look at all of us. Extolling the virtues of our Japanese tractors. not complaining about them.
Honestly I do think the Chinese are a threat to us whereas I never felt the Japanese were (of course this is in my lifetime in which they're now allies of the US unlike the the late 30s and into the 40s).

We hosted a large, “FlyIn / Camp-Out Total Eclipse Party” at our place April ‘24, so I bought an ice maker to keep several large ice-chests full…. from a U.S. company in San Antonio that lasted 3 months and the retailer scammed the wife into buying an “extended warranty” from another U.S. company that won’t answer calls or emails or snail-mails.

I had another large event in the Fall of ‘23 and hastily bought a similar unit online for half the price of the first one…which turned out to have a “VEVOR” brand sticker on it. I hoped it would work for a few weeks until the event was over. (I never buy extended warranties and fully expected it to die soon.)

It‘s still continuously making 30 lbs of ice daily. a year and a half later.

When I needed to replace 180-feet 20-yr old 5/16” galvanized steel cable to operate my hangar doors…..I ordered it for half the regular price on Amazon and a spool of “VEVOR” cable arrived two days later. It has the appearance every bit as good / identical as the OEM cable did when new.

Vevor sells thru Amazon…Yes…and Amazon “Prime” accepts Free-Returns if the customer has an issue. I’ve had very few problems with either.

I just wish Our current Pile-of-Mis-Representative Politicians would do as well as Vevor.

I bought a 6 in 1 trimming tool set from Vevor. The chainsaw pruner didn't feed oil so I contacted Vevor and jumped thru some hoops with them offering some money back, offering to have a local repair shop of my choice and send them a bill. Bottom line is they don't carry any repair parts so they sent me a complete 6 in 1 set at no cost to me. I then found a new chainsaw head from Temu that was exactly the same for little money. Now I have duplicate setups with under $250 invested. I then took the faulty chainsaw head apart. and found a bent tiny roll pin and replaced it with one I had in stock and now have three working chainsaw heads.
Yes, it is cheap stuff but in this case I only need it to work till I get the property under control.
