The new auto hitch looks interesting. The downside is that you have to buy an adapter for each attachment. Yet it eliminates the hooking up of the PTO on any attachment with it.

The new L3302 looks interesting. I like the new LED package. Adding the electronic PTO engager like the Grand series let them get rid of the clutch.

The L3902 looks sharp also. I like the new grill guard on it. I guess they are getting rid of the clutch on the 02 models.

Sorry Bmyers, I didn't see this and I posted too, LOL

I love the new L02 series!!

I hope the L02 changes get passed down to the L2501 also.

I'm digging that Orange/gray combo. Not so much the metallic. And the gray wheels look awesome.

Like the gray wheels. Steering brakes on the left - Brilliant. L02 series should have 3pt extendable links and pin type stabilizers as long as they are making improvements.

Bmyers - - thanks for posting that. Enjoyed watching.

What caught my attention was moving the wheel brakes to the left side.

Could never figure out why wheel brakes would be on the same side as the HST pedal?!?!?

Of course, that comes from the owner of a 70 year old Minneapolis Moline....;)

Also when I looked at the auto hitch for the L6060 a few years back, you had to remove the entire thing for certain other front implements..I can’t remember if that was the FEL or something else. So really once you install it should stay on the machine…which limits the flexibility for many of us landowners. For commercial applications its awesome.

They got rid of the clutch on a few models, several years ago. MX's I think and L4701? All HST of course. Gear drive tractors remained traditional for those that choose to stick with a straight shift.

Deere did it way back in the 1990's with some of the 4000 series. No clutch disc no pressure plate, just a flywheel (a heavy one) and a spline coupling. With that, you can't wear a clutch out cause it ain't got one! But with the electronic PTO engagement, it becomes more maintenance intensive in that you really should be using the recommended fluids with the recommended service intervals. Deere learned that the hard way with, IIRC, the 4310 E-HST. I hated them.

Interesting, I wonder if they have eliminated those issues with the new setup?

Ah I see the confusion now. Nomenclature. @Bmyers you are talking about the 3PT K-hitch, not the Autohitch. I see in the video he did incorrectly call it an autohitch. The autohitch is a front mounted subframe that adds options for a snow blower, broom, etc that is driven from mid PTO. This K-hitch is a modified 3 point quick hitch. Still looks cool though.

Matt this is not directed at you and Yeah It looks nice but I cant see the fancy paint on a Tractor unless your someone who buys a tractor only to park it in a garage, wax it all the time, add a bunch of bling and only put 25 hours a year on it! Then join a forum and spend more time posting about it than actually using it! LOL!

None taken, I use my stuff as intended. I agree on the glitter paint, not needed and probably adds $ to the tractor. I’m just glad Kubota fixed the fading to pink paint some years back. But I do like that color combo, and the gray wheels look great. I would still muddy and scratch them up!

I think there is a significant market share of people who buy and use machines just in this way. I know one person in my family who has had a sub-compact tractor for 20 years, used 10 hours a year (tops) for snow removal only, and wiped down in the off season. It is nothing more than an unused tool, a decoration, for 10 months. Kubota marketing was smart because those guys will spend the extra money to buy that one and love it. Those of us running our machines through the woods, not so much.
