New guy with a BX23S looking for opinions.

Scratching my head about the 3rd function location... When you get a grapple you are going to have like 10 feet of hose. I would move the 3rd function back to the front right foot position. The rear double valve kit for the BX is a steal, have them install that kit when they move the valve. Its like $350. You will get all kinds of use out of it.

Do you know what the part number is for the rear double valve kit for the BX ($350). Asked my dealer, and was told that none was offered. Won't be the first time that the customers know more about what is available than the salesman.

your dealer is wrong, I asked mine a month ago.....
Actually I asked him what the 'empty slot' by the high-low speed lever was for he said dual rear remotes.
I've actually got the install manual for it ,'somewhere' on this PC....will look later.

i dont see on that list the BX23S. Thy said the kit isn’t available for it because of the backhoe. I did think about having them order the kit for a non backhoe BX model and trying to fit it, but there must be a reason kubota doesn’t have it listed. I didn’t want to be out the cash for something that wont work.

I'm not familiar with the backhoe subframe/mount on your 23S but, if I were to guess, it would interfere with the valve. Attached is a pic of the valve on my BX2370-1.

likely the hoe brackets highlighted will be your issue with the valve and linkage clearance. Nothing you couldn't overcome with a few custom bent hard lines. Though, the linkage could get interesting. When i bought my kit, it was cheaper to get the whole kit than just the valve, go figure!
