Never owned a Tractor

Congrats on the new tractor. Should serve you well for years to come. Have to stop reading these posts of folks getting a new tractor. Gives me that itch to go get that LX2620 I want. Would probably end up sleeping on it as the wife would banish me from the house if I can home with a new tractor.

Enjoy the new tractor. I downsized to the BX. Just a casual tractor user. Another low hour year of use. Low 80's over the BX's first 12 months of use. Driveway maintenance (smoothing and snow removal), hauling and moving firewood logs. Deep(+20") or heavy wet snow blowing is much slower with the BX. You will appreciate the HP, mass of tractor. Went from couple decades of R1s with no chains to R4s with rear chains. You might want to consider at least rear chains if ice or hard pack driveway surface and any pitch. I think I made the mistake of going with 2 link ladder chains v. the euro diamond or H pattern chains. The BX definitely needs front chains or studs for our snow conditions.

Haven't ever used a land plane/grader scraper. Do own a box scraper. In addition to what it is designed to do it serves and rear ballast for bucket or grapple use. Snowblower is rear mounted. But for your use the added mass might be beneficial while using your front mounted snowblower. Might be able to use to pull snow away from objects you would not want to run into with your front blower. Others can comment if a stupid idea or practical use. Took a while to more or less get semi-competent using it to grade the driveway. Initially it was handy for moving and distributing the 80 tons of gravel purchased last year to "top coat" the driveway. No ruts or cuts with the blue rock gravel. Mostly just distributing and smoothing. Thinking land plane would have been the better choice for my specific needs, but the used good priced box was sitting there. All the land planes were new and significantly more $$$s.

Each implement has it's advantages. With your snow blower mounted up front, something heavy in back, like an offsetting scraper blade would put more weight on the rear tires for better traction. In addition to warm weather chores, that blade can also move snow, which can sometimes be useful even with the blower.

I didn't see any mention of a front end loader, which many find to be the single most useful addition to a compact tractor.
