when you're done working for the day and you 'retire' to the couch or what not.
In a nutshell, that's exactly right, except for the "what not". I personally prefer "some such". LOL

Retirement is actually difficult, very difficult. You have to decide when to get up, when to eat breakfast, what to eat for breakfast, how long you want to watch the morning news, which email to read, what you're going to do for the rest of the day, (work on your tractor has been a favorite of mine for the last two months) or maybe you want to catch that new movie that's out, or go to the range, or if you're a late blooming amateur photographer, you might want to go for a ride to see what looks like it needs a photograph today. Now that just covers the morning...imagine all the decisions you need to make for the afternoon. Don't worry about evening, the DW will be making all those decisions.

So you can see immediately how stressful retirement can be.

Be thankful that you are still working, so someone else can be telling you what to do and when to do it, much less stressful and some such.

Roll the relaxed.
