I am looking for some used wheel weights for a ‘22 Mx5400. It has 24” rims in the rear. I found some F and N weights with “W161” and “W162” on them. They are “universal “ weights. I read that the 161 goes inside of the 162. Wondering if these would fit my rims. The bolt pattern on an MX is 4 bolts, approximately 12 3/4” diameter. Has anyone tried these or know of another weight that will fit?

I have no idea if those weights would work for your MX5400. I have the factory weights on my MX so that's an option for you.

Thanks for the pics. I’m just trying to avoid giving the dealer $1700 for 3 sets of weights and a bolt kit. Thinking about beet juice in the tires. I don’t like how far ballast boxes stick out the back. Don’t know which way to go.
If that ad is still up, it's only $40 bucks. As long as the diameter is small enough to fit inside the rim, you could drill new holes to match your pattern.
The cheapest I've seen them around here is $250.

Got it done. Weight box weights 600 lbs. empty. Old JD wheel weights slightly modified, 150 lbs each. Total cost $180.
Can't beat the price! Looking at my MX spreadsheet and bill of sale, I paid $1,305 for three sets of wheel weights, hardware and installation.

For the MX the factory weights are 100lb each which adds up to 600lb of total weight. The M has 990lb of wheel weights.

Those like to be for the old A-B-G John Deere tractors. Have some of them that have been on a JD A tractor since my FIL bought it new in 1950. You have your self a cheap weight set up.

Make your own out of lead, steel and concrete:

240 and 260 lbs each (difference is amount of lead) for a total of 500 lbs. Pretty much just for the cost of the concrete mix and 12 8" Gr8 bolts and nuts.
