While not necessarily Metal related....more Punk & Skate Metal:
In the 80's I was a skinny Skate Rat. I didn't fit in in the HOA manicured lawn neighborhood we lived in. However, I was blessed to find out that I lived within hitchhiking distance of the music and skate Mecca of the east- Cedar Crest! It is where I was first exposed to raw unfiltered music. I was hooked! While I never had the bawls to ride the steel monster half- pipe, I got to see the likes of Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Mark Harrison, Christian Hosoi ply their trade on the ramp. I also got to see Gwar, Bad Brains, and even Dave Grohl (in Scream, before Nirvana). Grohl was a local as he grew up in Annandale VA.

Must be an age thing, but every time I read the thread title it comes across as:

Meatheads of OTT... LOL but honest truth...

Then when I get it right, I wonder why the thread is not in the fabrication forum... Metalheads do make some interesting stuff.

Then I finally realize it may be my nature to be wrong multiple times!

Guess this proves my wife right again!
