Its been a busy summer, will be cranking up any day now. Got a 5 hp electric motor to replace the 2 hp. 2.5 times the power should give me the grunt i need. Was hoping this weekend, but my recurring back problem has returned with a vengance.

Working on a plan to gather a couple totes of soy bean chaff,it binds up really well. Mixing with the wood chips will be a good test.

Found a deal on a third pellet stove, so now i need to shuffle them around to where i want them.

Awwww man back problems are a real PIA so to speak,, If you get the rig up and running I sure would like to see how its working, and how the soybean chaff work. I keep saying Im going to go with a pellet stove but wood is free and just takes some time. I don't know which would be better

BUB,, yep DMSO does work, I use to use that on my horses after endurance races, it made them feel like there was nothing wrong.. The problem is that it doesnt cure/heal anything, all it does is mask the pain, to the point you can and will do something silly and do more damage,,
But if it works for you, and you understand how and what it does then God bless you:D

OH and one more thing about DMSO,, be very careful about handling ANYTHING that might be in any way toxic,, the molecular construct of DMSO is very very very small that's why it gets through your skin so easy,, it will also carry anything else it comes in contact with, through the skin and into the blood stream.
Once I head that a government, was using a DMSO mixed cocktail for some rather nefarious reasons, by black opps personal,,

Just did a little reading on that.
Think i will pass for now. DMSO is one of those things i would prefer to stay away from. I dont even like insect repellent.

Funny how a couple pinched nerves can change the way you walk, sit and even sleep. Turn just the right way and "pop" its gone. The physiotherapist here in town usually get it after a couple attempts. Tuesday will be the third kick at it.

aaaaaah, BACK PAIN!

Something that I am all to familiar with. One of the very few things that has helped me is Bilateral Radiofrequency. Might be something worth looking into. :D

I guy I worked with spent most all of his adult live working in low coal,,, less that 30 inches,,,I hated going to those mines,, ANYWAY ,, his Doc mentioned about one of those inversion tables thingies, you know where you hang upside down like a bat...
So he got one and said he knew he was going to die there the first time he used it. He said he had never felt so many things popping in his back and doing things he aint never felt before. Doc told him that would happen couple of times till all got to where it should be. !0 min a day after work and he said his back never bother him again,, I don't know my self, I never saw him limping or whining about his back after that

Inversion table works for me, but my sinuses don't like being upside down, so it's a compromise for me. The longer I stay inverted, the better my back feels, but the more my head plugs up- so I try for a happy medium.

They make a setup that you lay flat on, strap yourself in, pump a hand pump to a psi that is 1/2 your body weight, And it stretches you out like a hydraulic cylinder pulling table.

I use a tens unit for my bad days, it feels great even though it's like shock therapy. Best way I can describe it is that you get a feeling like you just got a massage, minus the pretty sweetish girl :D. You just need to use your imagination

Medevial times, i need a rack!! Bet the wife would like cranking that up.

I get tens treatment with physio. sometimes acupuncture.
But she mentioned its getting progressively more difficult to align. Perhaps scar tissue, or i just wait too long to treat it. I refuse to quit working if it isnt incapacitating me.

Work has to get done, hurtin or not. Bills to pay, customers to keep happy.

Tj, have you tried physical therapy? I was having issues with pinched nerves in my shoulders. Doc prescribed some stretches and exercises to do. Was able to solve the issue. They did the same thing when my hip popped out, and when I had lower back issues

It's hell getting older

Those be hardwood im guessing. Be interesting to do a side by side comparison.
40 lbs hardwood vs 40 lbs softwood. Still 40 lbs of heating fuel.
I just caved on 2 pallets on sale. Want to have on hand in case i cant get mill banging on all cylinders.

Wolfman, where do you store your pellets and are you storing all 6 tons in one location? I have read a couple stories of people dieing in Germany from Carbon Monoxide poisoning from the off-gassing from wood pellets.
