Goes to show just how much these little machines can do.
I moved a rock last night with ours that I never thought possible. It couldn't lift it. It could hardly push it but it did. I also questioned myself for putting the extra lighting on the tractor. Sure glad I did now because I'm really using them.

Got a buddy of mine that's going through a rough time so I'm giving him all the wood wifey are cutting down. He's pretty happy because he figures he'll have enough for a full winter by the time we're done. The wood shown was from a few hours cutting.
Sorry about the picture quality. iPhone pics

Thank you for posting your pics Wildfire ! I was concerned about the BX25D being enough tractor for the job ( I just bought one last Friday ). After viewing your pics I have more confidence in my choice. I haven't had much chance to use it much other than a little mowing and I move a pile of mulch. Can't wait to use it again !

Congratulations on your new tractor. Mine just rolled up to a whopping 20.4 hours but I still can't believe how much this little fellow can do. Its incredible.
Just before dark last evening I decided to dig up a double stump. Well it was entangled with another couple of trees and it was pretty big.
It took 1.5 hours of a pretty big battle but me and the BX won but it was pitch black dark while I was doing it.
Really happy with the extra lighting. Couldn't have done it with out it.
Wifey snapped some photos with her phone for you to see.
Sorry about the quality.

OK I've gotta ask, why didn't you bring out the big guns with the L5740 and dug that stump up like it was nothing??

Well the reason is all in the reason for the BX. I needed the BX to gain access to the rear portion of our property. The idea for the BX was to remove trees and put a road in with the BX. The problem right now is the 5740 is way to big to get where the BX goes so that's the main reason for the BX. Once the BX's work is done I'll be able to get the 5740 down there.

that overhead light works great… i may have to borrow the idea. after i repair my fel bonnet. it has a few dents in it. from falling limbs and backing into items…
i think i'll be installing rearview mirror soon. i'm thinking of one of the sport mirrors to give a panoramic rear view.

It is amazing how much work these little things will do. Before I bought an extra tractor to keep here, I would often spread truck loads of rock rather than drive a bigger tractor from another farm.

OK, I know there is no such thing as an "extra" tractor.:)

So true. I got the road wide enough now that I can get the 5740 around which is great. I now hae full access to our land and the trees that were becoming a hazard are now gone o I'm happy, happy, happy :D

The lights have been great for me. I totally dislike mirrors on a non cab tractor but they are needed and I'm going to do the same. I just need to do it where it won't look to Godly.
I got about five more mods I need to do but just need some time to do them.

I'm just in awe over this BX. Its so handy to have around. I need a hydraulic dump trailer next.

Well, if you're gonna go get yourself a trailer, might as well find one that can carry your tractors! I got myself a good utility trailer with 3" walls that can carry my B7100. You never know when you need it to work on a friend's project at his place.

Did I say work? I meant play! :)

As much as I like to help others I really don't want to be moving the tractors around making work for myself. People can be very disappointing some times.
Things might be different down your way but when I start a project EVERYONE avoids me like the plague because they don't want to lend a hand.
These past three weeks my wife and I have been cutting trees down on our property, clearing the land, putting in a new road, new storage building... I'd do the cutting and she would drag all the branches down to an area where we can chip them later on. Its been a 12-14 hour work week including weekends since we started. Not one person asked us if we needed any help. The two questions we did get was what are you doing? and can I have the wood?

The trailer will be 10' and no larger :p

Here's a personal list of things I found a man should never own because he will be constantly asked to lend them out. The sad part is I have these items.

- Cement mixer.
- Car dolly or trailer
- Scaffolding.
- Tractors.

Tools can be added to the list as well.
