I need a hydraulic dump trailer next.
I absolutely love my Big Tex dump trailer. Mine is the 70LP. It weighs 2,000 lbs and hauls 5,000 lbs. It is like towing nothing you almost forget it is even there :D

I did not raise up the bed to full dump because I wasn't hooked up (safety sake). Pictures shows the hand made ramps. ramp bar, tie down rings & control box. My BX24 fits like a glove in it. The loader bucket rest over the control box. The BH rest on the outside of the end gate. I always ensure everything is secured. I will get a picture of the tow setup. Hope this helps :D

Do you have it wired to charge the battery from the tow vehicle? My son in laws was factory (bri mar brand) wired that way and unless you unpluged from the truck it would blow the fuse in the truck because it was also trying to pull from the truck battery. I wired up a battery isolater so you could run the pump with the trailer plugged in.

Yes mine is wired to charge the trailer battery from my truck charging system. The trailer battery not only powers the dump it also powers the breakaway brake system.

With a simple relay, it can be prevented by wiring such so it would automatically disconnect the charging wire from the truck whenever the dump is functioning.

Oh and Kubota Man,

What you have is a dangerous setup. You're liable to attract lookie-loo's admiring your 'bota n' trailer when they should be paying attention to driving...

I have a similar setup, except mine doesn't dump and the bucket fits inside the trailer. Hmm... gotta get pictures...

You should have seen it when I pulled the trigger and bought it. I had a regular cab truck with an 8' bed it was very full of stuff the trailer had stuff packed all around the Kubota. It looked like the Beverly Hillbillies rolling down the road (all 375 miles). There were some lookie-loo's then :D

On a kinda serious note......I would hate to see you get schooled like I did :( ......YOU NEED TO POST THE PICTURES :eek::eek::eek:

Very nice. That would work for me. What size is your trailer? Me likey. :D

Thanks for posting them.
I am sorry for taking so long getting back to you :(

Here is the scoop
The box size 4'6" X 9'10" overall size is 6'6" X 15' The things I added was the 2 ramps w/holders and the ramp bar along the back of the box as well as a battery charger/maintainer in the control box. The hydraulic fluid is ATF fluid. Hope this helps ;)

Thanks my friend. Its a great help. I'd like to get a galvanized one. I'm so tired of seeing powder coating peeling before its off the lot.

Here's an example of a new one on a lot in the city
