Hey guys. Need some advice here. I have a 2005 M95S cab/loader with 1040 hours on it. At a little under 1000 hours, I noticed a vibration in the main shifter and eventually it got stuck in 1st gear. Let out on the clutch and nothing. Long story short, it has a broken sync gear (broken in 3 places!!). We only hay with the tractor with no hard pulling (disc, plow, etc) and not much loader work except hay forks and loading some manure from time to time. Always been babied. We have 7 or 8 other tractors (mostly older Fergusons, and a Case 2290 and have farmed full-time for (me - 20 years, Dad - 50 years) so we know how to run equipment. It is torn down now at a dealer....not the original dealer...he went out of business 2 years ago. with the cab/loader off and split in half. Looking at 60+ hrs labor plus parts...probably $4-6000...maybe more. They say Kubota won't do anything. What's your thoughts on getting them to help/pay for repairs? I think it had to be a defective sync gear from the factory. Thanks a bunch for a great forum!
