My operator's manual doesn't say what tyre pressures should be used. Weird. However the Workshop Service Manual has the info. So for those without a WSM, I hope this is useful:

"For usual works except for front loader work
Front tires
6.00-16-6PR = 340 kPa 48 psi (M4500 and M5500)
7.50-16-6PR = 280 kPa 40 psi (M4500, M5500 and M7500)
8.3 -24-6PR = 220 kPa 31 psi (M4500 and M5500)
9.5 -24-6PR = 160 kPa 23 psi (M4500, M5500 and M7500)
11.2-24-6PR = 180 kPa 26 psi (M7500)
Rear tires
14.9-28-6PR = 120 kPa 17 psi (M4500 and M5500)
16.9-30-6PR = same (M5500 and M7500)
18.4-30-6PR = same (M7500)

"For front loader work keep the pressure of the front tyres shown below.
6.00-16-6PR = 350 kPa 50 psi
7.50-16-6PR = 280 kPa 40 psi (same as non-loader use)
8.3 -24-6PR = 240 kPa 38 psi
9.5 -24-6PR = 200 kPa 28 psi
11.2-24-6PR = 180 kPa 26 psi (same as non-loader use)

The above will be for bias ply tires.

Thanks for posting this. I replaced the front and rear tires on our M4500 in December. While plowing snow I kept slipping-poor traction. I measured the tire pressure on the loaded rears and it was 27 psig. These are radials and they didn't have the characteristic bulge. I found the chart at the tire manufacturers web site as a function of load and dropped the pressure to the teens. Traction greatly improved.

Good point JerryMT - the pressures from my Kubota WSM would be for bias ply tyres. I hadn't thought about radials.
