LX3310 cab model loader knob (grip) removal

Does anyone know if the loader lever knob (grip) on a LX3310 cab model screws off? The online parts site shows it as a separate part from the lever but the illustration doesn't show any threads.

It has resisted moderate attempts to remove it.

Try an air nozzle at the stem/knob connection or at the pinhole at the top of the knob to inject some air in there while you're twisting/pulling.

If it is the hard plastic (hard rubber) type you might try to heat it up and then try to get it off.

I was hoping someone on here had removed one and KNEW if it screwed on or not. Push comes to shove I can cut it down and thread it or use a knob with set screws. The shaft is a shade over 1/2" / 13mm.

I'm thinking it is pressed on. Looking up the third function parts for the loader shows a shaft with threads and the parts breakdown without a third function shows it's unthreaded. I imagine if it was threaded to start with they wouldn't show a different part for the third function.

There's no threads and the part number for the knob is the same as the one on my B2650HSDC.
