I just picked up a new LX2610SU. The dealer price to add a third function is 1900 ish and that is a WR Long kit. I’m fairly confident I can do it myself. Would you buy the WR long kit or the Kubota OEM? From what I can tell the Kubota kit is a little nicer with hard lines and apparently the control head is “better”? both are about 1k. WR long a little less and OEM a little more.

The Kubota OEM kit doesn’t come with couplers. Im planning to purchase the Catawba 55 grapple and can specify 1/2 ag or 1/2 flat face couplers. Im not sure which type to go with and what type to order if I buy the Kubota OEM kit. Any pointers are appreciated. Thanks.

I've had two Kubota third function kits with 0 complaints. Landpride also makes a third function. Is the WR Long a true third function or diverter?

Has the routing of hoses changed on the OEM for the LX, is that big obnoxious loop still there?

@EC135P3H I installed a summit kit when I had my LX and was happy. There’s a thread around here somewhere with pictures.

Not a snowballs chance I would pay $1900 for that W R Long kit. A $700 third party kit works fine and is easy to install on your tractor.

I also picked up a Summit 3rd function kit for my B2650, which should be somewhat similar to the replacement LX2610 models.

For a look into what it took to install it myself.....see this thread Here. the install was fairly easy when you break it down into the different sections.

At the time, you could download the installation instructions from both Summit and WR Long. And in fact the instructions looked identical....just the names had been changed.

I've had no issues with the Summit kit to date.
