A cheaper solution might be get the short hoses pre made at a farm supply store then put on your fittings. My local store stocks 1/4"x12 or 18"" hose with 1/4npt ends for about $10 each.

I wanted to update folks on this. I ordered 1 rear remote for my LX on Friday from my dealer, and it came in today (following Thursday). Less than a week turnaround time for rear remotes. Seeing other threads it seems folks have been waiting on rear remotes for months, so I was surprised it came in so quickly. Maybe Kubota is getting more inventory?
On mine it was the float detent valve that was the holdup think it took 6-8 weeks for it to come in.
