YES, you plan in #32 is GREAT. similar to what i do. I get riders as vertical as possible,sit in office chair to COMFORTABLY 'do the deed'.
Having a 'safety' hookup is a good idea !

The ones I have are hydraulic operated with safety catches every so often. I figure that they were discontinued due to lack of sales as the price is kinda high. Better picture here View attachment 135265
