I have a Kubota B2620. I also have a belly mower that I remove in the fall and reattach in the spring. This afternoon, I serviced the mower. I put a set of tripod coasters under each wheel of the mower to make it easier to move. Before moving the mower under the tractor, I raised the lifting arms with no problem. I put the mower under the tractor, attached the PTO and then tried to lower the lifting arms. They wouldn't budge. I removed the coasters and tried again and they still wouldn't lower. Has anyone have any suggestions on what could be going wrong?

Check the lowering speed control knob to make sure that it wasn't accidentally moved to the lock position.

Verify that the lifting mechanism is not latched in the Up position as one would customarily do after removing the MMM.
