I have a 4' box blade and I want to angle it so that I can slope the very outside edge of my 600' long straight dirt driveway. I want my neighbors water runoff to go down the edge of the driveway instead of washing out the entire driveway. Kinda like making a trough I guess. It's just a PITA to adjust it with the stock leveler. And YES, my BX is awesome. I live on 5 wooded acres. I had an L2050 for years but it was too big for my needs. I love my BX.A question are you looking to move dirt, gravel, or just level out your drive way? AND FYI you do not have a toy tractor, she is a real work horse! Now a red neck way if all you want to do is even things is an old metal box spring. They aint pretty but they work very well leveling things out,, We used one when the folks built the new house, it bounced around and picked up lots of rocks and after a few passes Mom had a nice level yard.. Just a thought
I had to modify one for my 1989 Shibaura built Ford 1920 FEL.Weaver’s leveling box on B26. Buy for size then modify to fit. B26 has little T-Rex 3pt arms. View attachment 106746
Only tractor seat configuration determines usability from seat.Do you know your target lengths- shortest being the most important? If the one that I linked will work (size wise), you can adapt the top link to the
I can adjust mine from the seat (box from Weaver's on my JD 790).
I must say that this comment sort of blows me away! I suppose if you only have 1 acre or may be a half acre of usable property it makes sense.… I live on 5 wooded acres. I had an L2050 for years but it was too big for my needs.
Hard to get between the trees and make turns with the 2050 as it IS larger than the BX. My property is heavily wooded. BX gets thru the trees easily. Not to mention I can drop the FE loader if I want.I must say that this comment sort of blows me away! I suppose if you only have 1 acre or may be a half acre of usable property it makes sense.
Just struck a surprising cord in my body I think when I read it.
I suppose I don’t know what a L2050 is… Maybe it is much bigger than I imagined. I was thinking of an L2501 When I read your comment…
