Anyone notice that except for the last picture, it appears all the saws are Stihls?

I'll be designing a mount for the B2650 in the next few weeks once the shop is done.

I'm always on the look out for a chainsaw solution. I'm not skilled or creative enough to make my own, and a lot of the ready made ones i felt were kind of over priced. But I recently stumbled upon this chainsaw holder, on amazon (sold by Northern Tool) it was only $28, not even on sale. So i figured id take a shot at it. I was really impressed, simple, sturdy, 1/8" steel. I cut the mounting brackets off the top and MiG welded it to BXpanded Carry all. It fits my little MS-210, and could easily accommodate a larger saw.

one more thing crossed off the list.

Bannon Chainsaw Holder

There’s a rock stuck in there keeping it from sliding all the way down.....

I used the Koplin chainsaw press mounted to my homemade ballast box. I designed the box to have room for a tool box, chains, chainsaws, oil, gas, and anything else I need. The tool box contains 3 foot, 6 foot, 12 foot, and 20 foot tow straps as well as tools, shackles, pins, etc.

Simple, cheap, works for me.

Now for the real question, What is my ballast?

Okay, I give up. What's the hinged thing hanging on the back of the box?

It's actually rotated 90 degrees, that's the door hinge. It was a small vault from a bank that was torn down. Latter, someone tried to open it with a sledgehammer, destroying the dial and handle. It would be nice if the door was removed, but I'm not that bored.

It's that piece of shyt Husky....all it's good for!! :p

Oh wait, wrong thread....

Just poking fun!:) That is really neat! I like the receivers top/bottom, hooks, chain storage, etc.

I had to go out and make sure my big Stihl was in the garage....my bar is upside down right now too...;)

What's that weigh? Bet it's pretty "stout."

Don't really know the weight, guessing around 600lbs. I like it better since I put the box/saw holder on it.

Nice compact weight. Better with the saw-box on it....

We also had a similar box for tools, saw-chains, gas, oil, etc. that we carried on our homemade wood splitter many years ago.
