Yesterday I had flakes as big as saucers, gluing themselves together as they floated down from the sky.
The end of March 97 we had a 24" dump with 6' on the ground. Shortly after that it was gone in three days. People had water squirting up 3 feet from cracks in their basement slabs, talk about hydraulics!

Was just above freezing and raining all day yesterday. Driveway is incredibly slick. I went to move a parked car and just sat in it, it slid a couple inches. There were little mounds under each wheel, where ice didnt drop. Strange weather we are getting here.

Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be able to take the blower off and put the FEL back on with the piranha tooth and score some ice.

I have a friend with somewhere around 6 long haired big dogs that really likes snow since her dogs stay cleaner and less mud gets tracked in and onto the bed....

My cheery thought for the day NIW...

AWWWW THANKS! :D

My wolves shed early, usually first of January, but the Siberian husky and the Malamutes are just starting the fun now!

I couldn't imagine that many critters during mud season. Our Shepherd's favorite pass time is digging during the rain  After 2 inches of rain between last night and today, I was greated by the abominable mud monster tonight  Then to top it off, she managed to puncture her new ball and fill it with muddy water. Didn't realize that one till she ran up to me and squeezed, shooting me in the face with a full stream :p:D Guess that my payback for bragging about the weather ;):D

Daren, my riding buddy gets to running around at the farm and enjoys a sprint through the bog down below the barn. Usually, just about the time I'm ready to leave.

I just call her, and let her jump in the truck. The fastest self cleaning dog I've ever seen. The mud just dries and falls off!

Most canines shed to one degree or another, but you haven'y experienced REAL shedding until you've been owned by a White German Shepherd. Especially in AZ.
While on a cross-country trip, we stopped in a campground in SW Colorado, and I decided to clean the inside of the truck of it's coat of white hair. I fired up my fifth wheel's on board compressor & went to work. Suddenly a guy came running up & said he had called the fire department & they were on their way.
Turns out he saw the cloud of dog hair from the other side of the campground & assumed my truck was on fire.:D

Just so you'll know who to blame, this was yesterday. Time to get ready for the thaw.

Bearbait, so are you now in phase 2 of snow removal?

We set a record like 78 deg. two days ago. Today's high is 41, going down from there. It makes a person feel like they're in your country with the differential in temperatures.

It's all relative. It's what ever is NORMAL to you that makes you feel comfortable/uncomfortable!

Nice looking rig!

Thanks, well I'm taking a big chance but I wanted to start work again on the clearing the tree's back on the side of my road and it's a lot easer with the loader on, just push them back and cut them and also a great time to burn with lot's of snow still along the sides. I just hope I don't have to put the blower back on, that subframe is rough on an old guy.

I hope this doesn't offend any one, but it's the way I feel right now.
Just got a foot last night that makes 4+ feet on the ground, and 8+ feet of berms, I'm sick of snow!
Now they are calling for another 4" to 10" over night. :(

Sean,i feel your pain. About this time three years ago we had exceeded our limit of snow tolerance. I remember the last storm, pushing a single plow width and dropping plow at the shop. I was done. 8-1/2 wide path. No room for any snow. And mad. Last couple winters drive is at least 3 passes wide and easy to keep up with the precipitation. Our last heavy snowfall was actually rain. Over an inch.
