I have an L6060 with 10-16.5 front tires. I would like to put a 12-16.5 on there. Since I am 4WD, would this cause a problem due to height differential? I need a wider tire in the front because I often seem to bury my fronts in soft ground

The 'lead-Lag; ratio must be kept to the factory specification or eventually you'll destroy the FWA and you will also experience adverse tire wear.
On any FWA tractor, increasing the diameter of one axle's tires cause the need to increase the other axle's tire diameter as well, or reduce as the case may be.

This information applies to John Deere machines. But it is as helpful! I have determined that my Kubota came from the factory with a lag of 3%. Upsizing to what I want gives me a lead of 8%. Im not sure which is worse..... ANY lag or TOO MUCH lead.

I changed the front tires on my m 62 to 12-16.5 from 10-16.5
(8.25 rims to 9.75 as well)
And the rears from 17.5l-24 to 16.9-24 to maintain proper gear ratio
