What do you use with your tractor for logging?..Boom pole? Im looking into getting one..My buddy has a 790 JD, Boom pole works slick
I use a short boom pole that I made & hang log tongs off the end. If I can't get close enough I use a chain to pull it out so I can get the tongs on it.

If you get the R4 tires and you want to run chains you will need wheel spacers in order to have enough clearance. With the ag tires you can widen the rims they come on so no need for spacers. Just something to consider.

I have a Grand L3830 and it pulls like a mule it'll pull a subsoiler 22" deep and it'll pull a 2 bottom plow in our heavy Adobe without problem .

Another heck yes it'll do it, but get the AGs! I'm quite unhappy with the
R4s, having had AGs in the past..
I have an L3200 with R-4's. R-4's work for most of my applications but I will tell you that if a muddy situation pops up, the tires turn one time in the mud and the tread is full. How far you go then is questionable. If your not in your yard, go for AG. Power/ Go for it.
