L345DT question

Hey everyone!

I am brand new to the Kubota family. I ended up with an older l345 Seems like a great tractor, everything works as it should, and it seems to run great. The only issue is with secondary reduction section on the front end.

There are 4 bearings holding the vertical bevel gear shaft, and the top two had failed completely. This caused some marginal damage to the 13t (37800-43820) gear that is bolted to the axle. I ordered all the parts to replace the bearings and seals, but I haven’t found the bevel gears.

if I can’t find it, it will probably work, but I hate putting a damaged gear back in.

is there a good source for used parts for these older tractors? Or does anyone have any suggestions?

There is (or was) a salvage yard called West Kentucky Tractor but I recall they closed down. You might search for tractor salvage and see if anything comes up.

There is a yard in Maine that has some L345 and L355ss parts - great people!
