Trying to start a l3130 gst that has been sitting for a year or two. I seem to not be getting any or enough fuel. I tried the fountain test and saw no flow, opened the primer thumb screw and tried that also. Is there anything else I need to possibly check with the injection pump since it has been sitting?

I would start at the tank, through the fuel filters, fuel pump (if there is). Diesel pest, water ingress would be a more likely cause than the injection pump.

First check fuses for the Stop solenoid (which in this case is a run solenoid).
There are fuses on the left side by the radiator along with fuses under the dash.
That will stop fuel out of the injection pump, but not in.

If your not getting fuel from the lift pump to the injection pump, then the issue is before it.
lift pump, fuel filter, tank all can cause this.

DO NOT remove or mess with the injection pump or any setting or adjustments around it.
It is very rarely the Injection pump causing the issue.

As NIW states, be sure you have good fuel flow to the injection pump by removing hoses and seeing if there is a full flow of fuel through the hoses. Start at the injection pump and turn the key to the run position if the lift pump is electrical, if it is mechanical then you need to crank the engine to get fuel through the lift pump. If you don’t see fuel flow there then work back towards the fuel tank to find where you do have good fuel flow and remedy whatever is blocking the fuel flow.

Ok I will check the flow going to the injection pump again. Has new fuel filter and filter housing is full. What’s the deal with the 2 ON’s and 1 OFF on the petcock

Some housings did have two on positions, couldn't tell you why.

I assume it is a ball valve type petcock so the hole aligns with the lever. So if the lever is horizontal either pointing forward or rearward then flow can occur. If you then turn the lever 90 degrees downward the flow is blocked. If you could turn it upwards fuel flow would be blocked also but most have something that blocks full 360 degree rotation to just 180 degrees. That is probably just the easiest cheapest solution to valve operation is my guess as to why.

I personally would use a lot of caution getting into the injection pump since I don’t have the proper equipment to service it.

But I believe that you can remove a cover and see the side of the pump (which you may have already done). There is no exploded diagram of the pump and I am not sure that you will see much except the pump case and some parts of the governor. The shut down solenoid may be holding it in a static position so you may need to remove the solenoid to get movement on the governor and pump?

@North Idaho Wolfman will provide better instructions than I can.

Yes the rack should slide back and forth via the governor linkage.
Have you verified the stop solenoid is working?
