I recommend adding a vacuum “T” fitting between the Turbo compressor housing and boost actuator.

Edit: We do include a vacuum T fitting (hose and hardware) if the optional gauge kit is selected. However, we are still lacking installation instructions for this option.

We’re working on several Turbo Kits at the moment, with many, many more on Back-Order. We’re doing our best to get these built as quickly as possible. The OEM Kubota/Mitsubishi MHI Turbochargers are also on Back-Order complicating things further. We have lots of those on Order too.

It definitely struggles with a lack of power at times; like pushing heavy snow, climbing a hill, or roading in high gear. We’re at 4,500 ft. elevation here, so this should help with the smoke too.

The Turbo Kit will improve performance significantly, especially at your elevation (and higher)…..even with the factory fuel settings! Less smoke, lower EGT’s and your L2501 will perform like you are operating at sea level but with a touch more power. With fuel adjustments, it’ll behave like an L3901 at sea level. And when it comes to PTO power, the Turbo Kit provides all the power you’ll need. It’s quite an improvement.
