Hi.

Not really on topic but I wasn't sure which forum was appropriate.

I'm waiting on an l2501 with fel and bh77. It's going to be kept at a remote property so I want to build a lean to car port for it before it arrives. I know the max width (the 66 inch bucket) and the max height (with rop up) but I'd like to know how long it is with the fel and backhoe in "resting" position.

Anyone with that setup that can help?

Thank you

Denis

Can confirm. I have an 18’ trailer, and it fits with less than a foot to spare. If u set the hoe down to the side its shorter.

This is my 20x20ft carport to give a little visual perspective.
Thank you.

Is that the "Arrow" metal carport? If not it looks like a similar design. I've been looking at them lately. I'm looking at the 10x20. I would normally build it but I'm feeling lazy and the price of wood is through the roof. Do you like yours?

to be honest I have no clue what brand it is, was already there when I bought the property. I don’t have any complaints about it.

I just got the same setup delivered last week and was "guesstimating" right up to delivery day due to tight quarters with my Ford w/60"mmm lawn machine. As per above 18 foot is the min with hoe tight & locked in place. I am not wild about turning it to the side for the long term in my shed with other stuff.

I have been resting it w/ the BH down and using the full 19-20 that I cleared, but still need to check best practices on that... Hydraulics will leak down slowly SO I learned as it got pretty tight to my garage door one time. ;)

BTW you will LOVE it!

If you engage the boom lock when its parked there is no way it can drop down from the hydraulics leaking down.

the stabilizers will drop a little but you can use a ratchet strap or etc to hold them up, and the bucket may droop a little depending on how you position it

Thanks.
Congrats. I can't wait as well. I just have to make sure I don't change the landscape into a moonscape. ;-)
